ALIVE: JOURNEY TO HEALTH

Journey To Health is heading a new direction- back to the basics!

The goal is to "eat alive to be alive."
A focus on more raw foods, non processed, organics, vegan recipes, and juicing.(Not everything is raw.)

If you are looking for more information about eating vegan or raw, try a few of these sites:

Vegalicious- Elena is serving up Vegan recipes, fitness and nutrition from personal experience reversing hypothyroidism and fighting infertility the natural way. She responds to emails and comments directly. She is personable and a wealth of information! http://www.vega-licious.com/ This is my top "go to" for information, I find everything she writes to be well researched, easy to read, and applicable. I HIGHLY encourage you to check out her site!

Hallelujah Diet/Hallelujah Acres: A Biblical approach to healthy eating. They encourage food in a natural/raw state as often as possible and offer several free tutorials and recipes both Vegan and Vegetarian. They also have a "healthy living" retirement community too. http://www.hacres.com/

The Garden Diet: I am still new to this website, but it seems to offer a family approach to making raw foods for your children as well. The dad is in his 60s and has his own site/blog http://rawveganwarrior.com/ as well as http://thegardendiet.com/ their main page.

Oh She Glows: Another "new to me" site that looks like a wonderful amount of resources, ideas, and recipes. Several friends ave recommended it. http://ohsheglows.com/

Raw Reform: Angela Stokes lost 160 pounds by going raw with her foods. She has a free Ebook/report for download, and has an article written for CNN.com about her experience that has recived over 2 million views.  http://store.rawreform.com/rawreform2.php

Green Smoothie Girl:  Has a 12 step program to eating whole foods. The website welcomes people that are not wanting to eat only raw, but still wanting to improve their over all health. She has several links(many you have to pay for) of resources and seems to have an approach of understanding most people want to be healthier but don't know how. http://www.greensmoothiegirl.com/

As I learn more, I will share more, and if you have favorite vegan recipes, raw food recipes, or other resources please feel free to leave a comment on this page! I welcome a community of learning and supporting.
