It is all Beth's fault...

On my way back from visiting Vivace on September first, I was hanging out in the Orlando airport for a few hours. A lady kept looking at me and finally asked, "Do I know you?" I assured her I doubted it but offered a few possible connections to avoid any embarrassment for her, "deaf community? Gardner-Webb University? military community?"  Nope, she apologized for bothering me, I went back to my book.

Later, I put the book down and took off my light weight jacket and stretched my legs and sat back down.

"OH!! I do know you!!! I do!!!" she exclaimed so loudly we then had several turned necks to see what she was so vocal about. "I DO know you, I knew I did! You are that Rooted In Love chick! The Rooted in Love blog lady?!?!? RIGHT! I knew it!"

"I.am.yes." I slowly hammer out, not sure if this is exciting or scary.

"Your shirt! I placed you because of your shirt!" she said and pointed to my T-shirt.

I was wearing THIS new birthday gift from one of my closest friends. Beth had found this and was thrilled it was an adoption fundraiser, had our verse on the back and of course the front is priceless.

The entire experience was comical and odd, my husband got the BIGGEST kick out of it. Even now I will bring dinner to the table and hear, "Oh my goodness, the Rooted In Love chick made us dinner!" or he will come back from working out and say, "Oh! Is that the Rooted In Love chick in my house?!?!" I may never hear the end of it...

...all I know is that it is ALL Beth's fault, and I LOVE the shirt!
