Primo's post.....

"Today I am wearing red, white and blue. {Seven months} ago I was wearing sad feelings. I missed him before he left, I knew he was leaving. I thought he would come back not very soon and it made me very sad. It happened, and I was so sad, I cried.

March 12 I had a birthday and my daddy was not there. The whole time was fun but sad too because there was no my daddy. Because I think he would have liked being at the aquarium with me. And I felt a little better because he called me at the aquarium but I still wish he were at the aquarium with me and everyone. I would have wanted to show him my little birthday sea turtle and I would have wanted to share it with my daddy.

I wish he was there when we went to Tennessee, that is what I wished for. I would have wished that daddy was also here to um... everything, he could like help us paint. He could teach us how to ride bikes, he could have been doing that stuff, but he had to go over there.

I think that daddy would have probably have played with us when we were scared and mommy had to take care of Vivace. If daddy was in the house then Vivace might not have hurt mommy at all or not as much. Daddy is very strong. That is what I think, but I don't know, because daddy was over there.

Now I feel REALLY EXCITED and when he comes home I want to be the first one out of the car and I want to jump up and hug him and kiss him and squeeze him like he is a stuffed animal with no real human bones you see on X-rays. I want to play with him and paint with him, when he comes. I want him teach us to ride bicycles and scooters and I don't know anything, just anything with daddy is fun. Computer is fun with daddy, more fun than normal.

I am excited we will wear red, white and blue tutu and ribbons. I also can't wait because I have a glow wand. We all have glow wands! Etude has a glow sword! I am going to be daddy's red, white, blue princess!

My heart will feel very much gooder when I see daddy and know he is really, really, really, finally, really, home with us. I also think if my heart could talk it would say "I am happy you are home" but it would say it in heart language we don't understand.

Maybe I will also ask him for a pet..."

Oh my goodness, what a precious girl you are Primo. I'm so glad you got to have your homecoming for your Daddy. I know you will enjoy spending time with him and doing all kinds of fun things. Give him a hug from me and thank him for serving our country. You, your sisters & brothers & your Mommy and Daddy all sacrifice so much for him to be a Marine and I am so thankful and proud of all of you.
