I do often "take names" and deal with people directly...ask Parker Yared's Neurology office about that if you don't believe me....
BUT, I am actually asking for baby name suggestions. If your name is selected you will be winning a FABULOUS necklace from Uganda, they are BEAUTIFUL! One to the winning boy name and one to the winning girl name if we use them or not for our little one.
Requirements:
*Girl (first) names can not start with A, B or I
*Boys (first) names can not start with M or P
*You do not have to submit a first and middle name together
*You can submit both genders or just one
*You can not use Ashley or Jillian
*No limit on number of entries
Helpful Hints:
*We prefer at least 2 syllable names
*We prefer unique names but not crazy or made up
*We are open to names from other countries/ethnic groups/subcultures
Contest end date is approx 10 weeks from now when we do the ultrasound that should let us know the gender! Once that appointment is confirmed, I will post the official end date.
You may post your entries in the comment selection on this blog or email me offline at familyrootedinlove@gmail.com and put "taking names" in the subject line.

how many names can we enter? a couple or one per gender?
hope you're enjoying your 4th of july! :) hugs! -stacey
I have a beautiful friend named Indira. She is lovely inside and out! She is originally from the Dominican Republic.
For a boy, I like the name Dashell, an old fashioned name.
Oh well, I guess Indira is out, since it's an 'i".
How about Shoshana for a girl? (Sometimes spelled Shoshanna.) It's Hebrew for "rose" or "lily" and it's the name we get Susanna from.
I think River, Fisher, or Spencer would go well with your other boys names.
Janae for a girl.
Gabriel for a boy.
Oh, I love names. You will not be able to get me off of here.
Sala (for a girl) which is from East Africa and means gentle.
Amorita (for a girl) which means Little Love in Spanish.
Luna (for a girl) which means Moon-- since the boys love the stars, sun, and moon
Soledad (for a girl) which means Solitude-- but isn't as lonely a concept in Spanish as it might come across in English.
Alright boy names to come.
*Keenan (in the Bible, Kenan...either way-almost looks like Kathleen)
*Hazaiah ('God decides'- sounds almost like Isaiah)
*Jada (Biblical name- 'knowing')
*Jarah (In Bible, Hebrew means God gives sweetness/One who gives sweetness/sweet as honey, some other sites says it's arabic meaning Boldness/bravery.)
*Javan/Javon (Clay, from Greece. Javan is also the name for the country of Greece in Hebrew. Also a Bible name)
*Thaddeus (God's gift)
*Tobias (God's good)
*Faith
...sorry so many! :-) There and there says it means that...and this... :) Been researching! :-) Love doing this kind of thing!...
Just pray about your choices! :-D Stacey
for a girl, Matanah which is Hebrew for gift and was the name of my favorite camper from when I worked at camp, or Katya which is a popular name in Ukraine, or Mariana
The one "J" name we never got to use was Joy. This would have been too much rhyme for the last name Ealy. An old family name for a boy is Logan Solomom. I am really enjoying reading all the names.
Grammee Sue
Here are a few (okay, a lot) more options:
For a boy: Haven, Lucas, and Silas
For a girl: Helena, Mia, Maya, Camille
And because you loved Beaufort, how about Carolina for a girl or Beach for a boy?
For a boy Audric, which is a name of a friend of mine, and I think it's cool. and two more for a girl, Johanna, or Malia which is Hawaiian for beloved
I met a very charismatic woman from Africa who taught tribal dance and drum rhythms named Nzinga. I always thought it was pretty. It means "beautiful" and is the name of a famous African queen as well. ~Samara
I was browsing the site (allthebabynames.com) after looking up the meaning for Nzinga and came across one more to share. Sisay is Ethiopian for "a blessing" or "an omen of good things". ~Samara

For a girl I like Naya (also can be spelled Nya or Nia (long i).
I also like Ruby
But I think you're going to have a boy, so let me think about boy names that don't start with M...
Boy:
Jasper meaning jewel in Hebrew, Creed meaning guiding principle, Fynn is the name of a river in Ghana, and Jude meaning praise.
Girl: Raine meaning queen, Gianna or Giahna meaning God is gracious, Zahra is African meaning flowering, and Mayah meaning close to God in Hebrew.
for what it is worth...
Girl Names: (ending in "a" sound to match the other girls)
Olivia
Kaleigha
Gabriella
Boys:
Colton
from a speech perspective Mayah (already suggested) is the easiest to pronounce ::smile::
-jess
Harper for a girl............
Porter for a boy...........
Chandler, Lillian (Lillie Lily, whatever- for short?) -Stacey
Addison (I saw on babynames.com that it can be for a boy?? But thought about Addis Ababa... and when it is "capitalized" it looks like ADD I (one) SON
Eliam (People of God-in Bible, hebrew)
- Liam (a version of Lime)
I guess you can add Kee Lime' YoPlay for Christina and Beth, lol!
:) -Stacey
Raisa, Naomi
-stacey
Roman

I like Ezra for a boy and Nadia for a girl.
